Join local potter Kada Kisch and get started on your journey with hand building pottery!
This course will offer students their first glimpse into the art of hand building pottery with introductions to various techniques, and is suited for beginners. Focussing on the basics, local potter Kada Kisch will instruct from 5:30-7:30pm, with the remaining time set aside for proper clean-up.

Thursday August 6th, 5:30-8pm (2 hours class time, 30 minutes for clean-up)
Limit 8
$75 each, enough clay will be provided for the class
Ages 18+
*Extra clay can be purchased onsite in the Elkford Art Studio on the first day of class with exact change or by e-transfer. Students may decide to purchase one of our sample packs of clay for $10, or invest in a whole bag for $40. There will be a variety of clay types to choose from.
A glazing day has been arranged for September 2nd once items have made it through the kiln, at an additional cost. You can choose to “add on” glazing at checkout.
Please bring closed-toe shoes, a rag towel, and wear appropriate clothing for getting dirty.
