This is a final orientation session for anyone that has taken a wheel class in the past and are hoping to get certified to use the wheels in the Elkford Art Studio unsupervised. You should already have a basic knowledge of and comfort on the wheel prior to booking.
In this 1.5-hour session, you will meet with one of our qualified board members who will give you an orientation to our pottery studio, guide you through the basics of using the wheel respectfully, but primarily walk you through all the ins-and-outs of proper clean-up and maintenance of the pottery equipment. The instructor may choose to teach up to 3 people at a time in one of these semi-private sessions. This price is per student, no exceptions.
How to book: We currently have three instructors available for semi-private orientations on the wheel, please contact the instructor directly BEFORE PAYING to arrange a day/time that works for both of you.
