Join local potter Tathlina Lovlin and get started on your journey with wheel pottery!
This course will offer teens their first glimpse into the art of throwing pots on the wheel and is suited for beginners. Focussing on the basics, local potter Tathlina Lovlin will instruct from 5:30-7:30pm, with the remaining time set aside for proper clean-up.

Tuesday August 11th, 5:30-8pm (2 hours class time, 30 minutes for clean-up)
Limit 7 (no minimum)
$75 each, Enough clay for the class will be provided
Ages 12-17
*Extra clay can be purchased onsite in the Elkford Art Studio on the first day of class with exact change or by e-transfer. Students may decide to purchase one of our sample packs of clay for $10, or invest in a whole bag for $40. There will be a variety of clay types to choose from.
*Once your creations come out of the kiln they will need to be glazed or painted. A glazing instruction day has been arranged for September 2nd once items have made it through the kiln, at an additional cost. You can choose to “add on” glazing at checkout if you so choose.
Please bring closed-toe shoes, a rag towel, and wear appropriate clothing for getting dirty.
